Floating Caravan
Set design and props by Andy Knight Ltd
Photography by Tim Walker & Andy Hilman
“This fantasy dreamed up by Andy Hillman & Tim Walker involved a floating caravan platform built by us, and a loose copy of a water bicycle we made from an Edwardian archive photograph (I don’t think it ever caught on) – shot at night with hovering lanterns in a grand ornamental pool location.”

Greek (v): film industry jargon, to cover up or make illegible logos, names, and other copyrighted/trademarked/offensive images appearing on screen. From the phrase “It’s all Greek to me.”
ex.: Can someone from art department use that expensive vinyl tape to greek that Mickey Mouse picture. I don’t want to be sued.
I Art Directed this short with the students of Emerson College’s Production Design Fundamentals class last spring. It’s an adaptation of H.P. Lovecraft’s “The Outsider” directed by Rob Fitz (God of Vampires) and designed under the guidance of instructor Lawrence Sampson (Devilfish Films).
I previously posted some behind the scenes stuff here. There’s also a class blog where I’m a contributor.
